Prince of the Underworld AU

Where Kim Dokja is, in fact, the rightful heir to the Underworld, the son of Hades and Persephone. And Lee Sookyung.

Let me explain.
Hades and Persephone were, just like in the canon, unable to have a child for ages. Finally, they were blessed - Persephone got pregnant with a little constellation. Happiness filled the Underworld and moved other celestials who eagerly+
wanted to see the beginning of a new being born from such powerful beings. But the joy was suddenly cut when Fates gave a prophecy for the unborn prince: "The one destinated to ruin Olimp and shake the whole universe, the destruction and the salvation."+
Of course, hearing this, everyone was shocked and soon constellations outside of Olimp demanded the annihilation of such a monster-to-be. Even without the pressure from outsiders, the gods of Olimp decided to get rid of the future threat.+
Hades and Persephone would have none of that. It was their child, their precious baby, how could they even consider killing it? At first, they wanted to act against Olimp and raise their son no matter what, but then they realised that he would be born weak,+
not having enough stories. It'd be too easy to kill him later on, especially since so many constellations would be going after him. The situation seemed hopeless until their gazes fell onto a small planet - Earth.+
A young woman named Lee Sookyung was enduring the beating from her husband when he hit her stomach. She screamed, feeling how the child in her womb got crushed by the heavy blow. After the beating, she just stayed on the floor, sobbing as the blood covered her clothes.+
Suddenly, she heard two voices speaking to her. "It is possible to revive your son," the woman in her head said. Lee Sookyung though she was going crazy as the voices explained everything. They were being beyond her world, constellations, Hades and Persephone.+
They told her about their unborn son and the situation, then proposed a solution. Lee Sookyung's baby could be saved by merging it with little constellation - although the process was risky, it could allow the child to be born healthy and safely.+
Additionally, this meant that the boy would be a constellation and a human at the same time, child of Hades and Persephone as well as Lee Sookyung, neither lesser in being a parent.+
Lee Sookyung accepted the proposal without a moment of hesitation. Thus the baby under her heart was lively once again.
Unbeknown to them all, the transfer of the little constellation wasn't completely successful. Part of it got separated and shot outside of the time and space,+
outside of their relm. This bit of consciousness grew slowly, learning by watching his home universe as well as thousands of others. Beyond time, it soon got a name - The Oldest Dream.+
But on Earth, the rest of little constellation got safely anchored in a human body. After being born, he was named Kim Dokja. As the year went by, he grew with a loving mother next to him and two just as loving gazes from Hades and Persephone, who sent the news+
that their child died because of the attack of the unknown constellation. Their rage caused the whole universe to tremble and the further separation between the Underworld and Olimp. All they could do was secretly look at their son, following his life from afar.+
Little Kim Dokja often asked his mother about a feeling of being stared at, to which she always responded with "It's your parents from Heaven." Without any further explanation, he soon stopped asking and the warm feeling became something as natural as breathing.+
Before leaving, Hades and Persephone told Lee Sookyung about the reality of constellations and Star Stream so she could prepare them both for the inevitable. As Kim Dokja got older, aside from passing her love for stories to him, she created a little game.+
She taught her son by crafting an imaginary world with him and explaining the rules of the broader universe. They would sit together and think about characters and adventures around distant nebulae, familiarising themselves with it bit by bit.+
Kim Dokja loved their 'creative time'. With his mother, he waved tales of great heroes and grand battles, not knowing that they will become his reality one day.
His favourite character was Yoo Joonghyuk who he created as a regressor so he could use him over and over in new+
and old settings. In fact, that was the first sign of his powers as a constellation and the connection with The Oldest Dream. Although they were separated so long ago, both influenced each other - The Oldest Dreams' knowledge of parallel universes gave Kim Dokja the insight+
into Yoo Joonghyuk and in reverse the Oldest Dream got an idea about contracting future and parallel Yoo Joonghyuks and giving them the ability to regress (as I said, The Oldest Dream exist beyond time and space so time shinenagans happen with him, a lot).+
His powers were also influenced by that situation. As a constellation, his mind was broader and stronger, able to process far more data than the human brain. Thanks to that and connection to The Oldest Dream he developed an ability to predict the future. Sorta.+
When the Prophet Anna Croft could see parts of fate, Kim Dokja was able to subconsciously analyze the data from his environment. That meant he could predict multiple outcomes of situations and act accordingly. Of course, it was subconscious, so he wasn't aware of them.+
It was always a gut feeling about something. Sadly he was taught to act rationally so for years he tried to ignore the signals from his body which caused his 'bad luck' in life.+
Lee Sookyung was a doting mother. However the same could not be said about the father. He often abused both of them, physically and mentally.
One day he grabbed the knife. This was the beginning of his end. When he threatened Lee Sookyung+
all pent up emotions in Kim Dokja burst out like a volcano. Without much control, he realised his status and enormous pressure on his father. This caused man's heart to fail and he died instantly. When Lee Sookyung was relatively unharmed, Kim Dokja's body took a heavy burden.+
He was rushed to the hospital and survived even with his inner organs nearly in tatters. The father's death was ruled out as simple heart failure and mother and son were finally freed from the abuse. Lee Sookyung decided to never speak about what happen.+
Their life soon became quite stable. Lee Sookyung got a side job as a writer of a weekly column of the newspaper with criminal stories which she sometimes worked on with Kim Dokja. Despite him growing up, they kept their tradition of 'creative time',+
sitting together and talking at least once a week.
Even though bad luck followed Kim Dokja everywhere he went, he could stand it thanks to his stories. He loved to imagine his favourite Yoo Joonghyuk dealing with seemingly hopeless situations to settle his own worries.+
When the game began, Kim Dokja was able to survive because of his abilities to predict the future. He was surprised to see characters he imagined years ago as living humans, struggling to live by his side. The appearance of dokkaebi and constellation was an even bigger surprise.+
Suddenly his fantasy came to life and with it its dangers.
Fortunately, with the help of others, they were able to escape and get to the first selection.
Here it doesn't matter if Kim Dokja wanted a sponsor or not.+
His system window displayed only an 'error' message. Even Bihyung wasn't able to help it. It was because him being a human and a constellation at the same time was beyond the system. Normally it was impossible, considering the amount of probability required to even exist,+
but just being a part of The Oldest Dream enabled it without much problem. Still, the system couldn't process it properly, resulting in Kim Dokja not having a sponsor.+
Next big shock for him was meeting Yoo Joonghyuk. He was equally in disbelief and awe seeing his hero in real life. 'He is as handsome as I remember him," he thought. Five minutes later, in the stomach of an ichthyosaur, he thought, 'He is more asshole-ish than I remember him.'+
Side note, I thought about Lee Sookyung having an interview in the prison at the beginning of the game and after helping and guiding women who survived she became the King of Wanderers.+
That's all about concrete ideas I have, for now at least. There are some vague ones jumping inside my head but I don't want to post them before refining.
