character analysis-
Imagine having to go through what eren goes through...facing so much oppression & fear he saw growing up & now in the present that it causes him to face to a last resort by committing mass genocide for just an OUNCE of freedom 1/6

Looking at the bigger picture, Eren did it for THEM. He did it for his friends even if it meant pushing them away, hurting them & enabling the rumbling. Out of everything, it is the most self-less thing hes ever done considering the hot head eren he was in the beginning. 2/6

His character development makes him more realistic and honestly more human. The consequences of his future actions HAUNT him and has left a deep mental wound on eren. The ruthlessly pragmatic character he has become will really decide the fate of the entire world. 3/6

Eren is not the hot head he used to be. He isnt reckless nor implusive anymore. Since the beginning, everything about the cruel world has been building up on his back. Hes become incontrol of himself & more understand when he saw the memories of past shifters... 4/6

The change of his character is shown so well in the manga through his words&actions alone. He has even empathized w/ reiner because he is now in that same position reiner was in during the first arcs.He takes the advice of his enemy to do what Eren believes is the right thing 5/6

This all shows how much of a monster yet a genius eren has become. It is one of the best characters I have seen in a while. I have really come to love his character because of what he is now. Without a doubt, yams has written the best MC in our time. 6/6
