he wrote a book about transsexualism (without outing himself) before it was a word in the english language. later he was outed due to people looking through his genealogy and inheritance and fled to india where he became a buddhist.

a while later he passed away, and the manuscript of his autobiography was saved.

i think i may invest in this book soon, looking into the history of transsexualism really intrigues me. especially being that he was the first FtM to undergo phalloplasty in 1946.
