There are a lot of us working to end harassment and bullying of members of marginalized groups in STEM, in medicine, in academia. 2/7
So once you& #39;ve moved through whatever emotions her behavior has engendered in you, if you& #39;re not already doing so, give some thought to how you can support this work. 3/7
Not sure what that might be? Well, simply tweeting about it may feel satisfying but really isn& #39;t enough. Do some research on how to step up and stand beside people who are being marginalized. How can you do that on the individual level, in your workplace, at your institution? 4/7
And if you& #39;re not a member of a marginalized group, for the love of all that is sacred to you, shut your pie-hole and listen for a while. Really listen. Because we& #39;ve been screaming about this, and not just in our hearts, for a long time. 5/7
