Tw // patriarchal, sexual violence

It’s come to my attention that @/urfavsalvi is not only misogynistic, but also predatory. He has tried to shame women & girls into sex, and has attempted to prey on people much younger than him (he is 27 years old).

He must be deplatformed.
It shouldn’t take someone coming forward with a sexual assault story for us to protect women, non-binary, and queer people in our community.

We should speak up against patriarchal violence in all forms, including slut shaming, misogynistic slurs, humiliation, etc.
Again, Bryant has refused to acknowledge anyone attempting to call him in.

He’s consistently said that all these people are “haters,” rather than holding himself accountable for the harm he’s committed against women, nonbinary, queer, and trans communities.
His excuse has constantly been that no one has the guts to @ him directly or that those criticizing him are all “fake avi” accounts.

But when another cis man with a large platform directly tagged him in a thread, in an attempt to bring this issue to light, Bryant chose silence.
The thread mentioned in the previous tweet:

The reality is that he’s trying to hide from these very valid criticisms and he’s trying to portray an image for his social media following — one that excuses him of all responsibility.

His followers have consistently protected him from accountability. That is rape culture.
As a community, we have the responsibility to expose harmful men on Central American twitter. It is our job to protect this space, but it is especially Central American men’s job to stand up against patriarchal violence and misogynists.

This shit shouldn’t be tolerated here.
