I know we are only supposed to say nice things here, but three white millionaires should not talk about how we are all the same that that the "divide" doesn& #39;t make sense. #SCBWISummerSpec

The problem isn& #39;t a white person deciding not to get into a black person& #39;s boat in a hurricane. The problem is white people not letting black people into their boat. The problem is black communities being left to drown and their homes being left in ruins for decades.

I love SCBWI and I basically owe them whatever career I have, but sometimes fighting for the things you love means pushing back. This is why you need BIPOC on every panel, even if the topic isn& #39;t explicitly about race.
