Mystery solved. I’ve finally pinned down how I got the #covid bug that nearly killed my wife.

It was a three to four minute chat with a colleague from opposite sides of a room back in March. Responsible, socially distant, brief, all within the guidelines at that time.
Ten days later her breathing was so bad she thought she was going to die and was taken away in an ambulance. She was young and healthy but had (and still is having) a terrible time of it.

One, short, distanced but unmasked chat was all it took.
This, I am certain as I can be, was how I got it.
