Today another fellow #Indigenous colleague of mine on campus announced his departure from his position.

Indigenous staff and faculty members (and students!) have been my strongest support system and such wonderful mentors, but the group is wearing thin.

I have zero #Indigenous pharmacy mentors in #academia, which has prompted me to seek Indigenous mentorship from people in other disciplines.

I have been trying to recruit Indigenous pharmacy graduate students (“mentees”), but that dream has not yet come to fruition.

Still in 2020, there is not a single #scholarship for #Indigenous students in #pharmacy across #Canada at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

How can we change this?

There are 10 post-pharmacy schools in Canada and even more pharmacy chains and companies. Help wanted!
