@maureviv Can I pick your brain with a question I've been wondering about?

So... Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) is an entity that isn't well understood, as far as I know. There seem to be some correlations to MCAS.
Lately, I've been wondering though: Could undiagnosed cranial CSF leaks or disruption of the blood brain barrier play into it and might that be an underlying mechanism?

My MCS got a lot worse when my CNS symptoms got worse and I had a suspected cranial CSF leak.
I know two of my MCS friends have post-nasal drip.
I know how many structural diagnoses are missed.

What do you think about both of these hypotheses? What effects of chemical substances (and mold) would you expect in a cranial CSF leak, what in a disrupted blood brain barrier?
