Either way, it's true. Why _wouldn't_ young Chinese people see the CCP that way? It just presided over an absolutely absurd period of growth, perhaps the longest and most prosperous in modern Chinese history

Pro tip: Shit like democracy doesn't matter, only material wealth does https://twitter.com/redsteeze/status/1290620054539849729
If you're a Chinese 30 year-old, then literally all your life you've known nothing but growth, things improving, people moving up

If you're a western 30 year-old, then you spent your adult life watching jobs, dreams and hopes evaporate for you and everyone around you
Yeah they can't call Xi a fat gay ret*rd or Winnie the Pooh but they don't give a shit, the CCP can lay claim to having given them a lifetime of upwards mobility

Want proof? Western cities and streets are being torn apart and set ablaze by the young, not theirs
No, I'm not saying overall life in China is better or whatever but the trajectories of the fortunes of young people in the past few decades are obvious, and the young who received boundless upwards mobility liking who they perceive as their benefactor isn't some outrageous lie
