OK @imchrisjordan, as promised, my key takeaways from @RealHughJackman's interview with @tferriss. 👇
On reading

Patrick Stewart realized he was never going to read all the books he wanted to read. So he wakes up 30 minutes early and reads "the kind of book you read when you go on vacation." He does it first thing in the morning because the day gets away from him.
Reading (2)

Jackman starts with reading, every day, with his wife. They read out loud to each other.
Reading, (3)

3 book recos:
- This is New York, E.B. White
- This is Water, David Foster Wallace (commencement speech)
- The Overstory by Richard Powers "It works on you in the way nature does. It’s patient. It’s slow it’s steady and it’s true."

On intuition

- “From that moment on I have always followed my gut on stuff, even if it doesn’t make sense.”

- His prayer: “I don’t care God what it is you want me to do ... but please make it clear to me what you want me to do.”
Intuition (2)
- "There is some calling ... that is beyond the conscious brain’s strategizing of how to be happy and successful and meaningful in life."

- “I listen to the messages but they come in crazy ways ... strange, but clear, concise ways.”
Intuition (3)

- "I manifest every single day that I will hear those messages ... 100% clear in my gut."
Exercise:

- “Rowing machine and add in some chest work .. that’s everything you need to keep fit, healthy, strong.”

- “7 minute row, 4 times a week, goal is 2,000 meters.”
I was most blown away by:

- The confidence he has in, and the clarity of, his intuition.
- He rows for 7 minutes, "does a little chest work'" and looks like he does. 😳
