Pakistan ka left bilkul khiska hua hai. Trust me I am one of them. They operate in cliques and don’t think beyond their echo chamber. They are learning abt women’s rights from Tumblr & liberalism from Islamophobes.

Hoodbhoy is only an example. Likening Erturgul to ISIS and Mariam Chughtai, a PhD scholar in education to TTP/fasaadi, is exactly the kinda ridonkulous arguments and parables you’ll find them pulling out of their libbu hats.

Equating friend requests to harassment/rape, abusing others while being equally abusive, discrediting ppl for no good reason & only building up those who they like are among the many scary qualities of the apparent left in Pak. Their self-hate & hypocrisy is unmatchable.

They justify racism by calling it a fight for justice, the most left leaning scholars will also be somehow hand in glove with those in power. Your job is to QUESTION the status quo, not perpetuate its legitimacy. They’ll forgive a murderer if it suits their narrative.

They love their bogeymen & scapegoats b/c it serves their raison d’etre. It is scary that hypocrites like these exist in every rung of the power structure of the lefty left. Whether it’s at a rally/march or in the assembly or on social media - their agendas are painfully skewed.
