i like franmaya a lot youre allowed to dislike it (i saw a lot of hate towards it after the recent unpop opinion post) but i think their characters work together unbelievably well even with 0 canon content to back it up

its not just a matter of throwing whatever characters are left together i genuinely think theres a lot of potential there and that they’d be very good for each other. 2 people who have both been hurt so badly by their family history and forced down certain paths without a choice.

someone like maya with the ability to make franziska smile and take herself and the world a little less seriously, to show her that things can be good even when they’re imperfect. franziska dealing with her anger and grief at mvk can allow maya to

feel grief from losing her own family too, instead of always having to smile in the face of tragedy. both of them stepping out of the roles they were forced into with the support of each other and facing the world with new perspective together.

also the idea that neither of them have ever truly experienced family or realized that they deserve it, and that they can build that themselves w each other.... i like it a lot

(dont get me wrong i think they’ve benefited a lot from their sibling relationships w phoenix and miles and they have beautiful dynamics there but there is still more to attain ...... they deserve ppl who put them first instead of being treated as someone’s support all the time)
