So, they don't making it easy to Vote by Mail/Absentee in Alabama.

Deadline to apply: 10/26 AND you must already be registered by 10/19.

You can apply via mail or in person (but not online).

But, there are two very important rules.

1: One absentee application per envelope (don't send in for your entire house in one envelope).
2: You must send a clear copy of a valid photo ID (driver's license or non-driving photo ID).

So, if you're applying by mail START EARLY...

OK, so you've jumped through the hoops to get a absentee ballot. Now how do we get it COUNTED?

1: Must be postmarked the day BEFORE Election Day & received by noon on Election Day, which is FUCKED. So mail AT LEAST 3 WEEK IN ADVANCE or...
2: Hand deliver by 5PM. Where?

You want the PHYSICAL OFFICE in your county. Not the PO Box and NOT your polling place.

I think I'd like to add whether or not you can TRACK your absentee/VBM, which I don't think you can do in Alabama.
