I've realized that freedom was something I've wanted for a long time. I just didn't know that I wanted it.

Despite of being only 26, I've been trying a lot of different jobs, but have never really liked any of them. And I didn't understand why.

A short thread 👇
As mentioned I've tried a lot of different jobs, and none of them were actually alike. For a long time I've thought that I just haven't found the job for me.

But a couple of years ago, I was an interview for a job, and the guy asked me: "I see you have changed jobs a lot...
...Do you get get tired of your jobs quickly?".

That got stuck in my mind. Was the problem actually to have a job at all? And then I started to think there was something wrong with me. Everybody worked, and so should I.
But the last year I've thought a lot of times that it would be nice to live of my investments.

I realized that I wasn't at the wrong job. The wrong thing for me was to work for somebody else. I didn't want to depend on a 9-5 to live.
But everytime I've thought about living of my investments and to be financially free, I've also thought that it was unrealistic and that I had to be unique to do that.

But then I joined Twitter and discovered @Route2FI.
I saw that he wrote a lot about financial independence, and that it was achieveable for basically anyone, but I couldn't understand how that was possible.

But then I bought his book on how to reach FI, and it blew my mind. It is actually achieveable! It showed med how.
