for anyone who is in lebanon or has family or knows anyone who’s ears are ringing and hurt from the blast, avoid ur phone/loud music because that will irritate u more; also try not to drink like tea or coffee or things with caffeine because those tend to cause

headaches!! i’ve seen others suggest to avoid those things. and my experience being at an bombing/explosion site and coffee made the ringing worse. please take care of yourselves and those u know. and stay safe and i’m sending all my prayers<3

if u have ear plugs, earmuffs or anything u can use to cover your ears to protect them please do so. also please try and stay hydrated if u can because if you are in shock it can and will make you dizzy and tired and it’s easy to get dehydrated. pls stay safe

i’m not sure what kind of explosion it was so i don’t know many of the details but if u are in an area where there is a lot of smoke, please do ur best to cover ur mouth and nose and try not to inhale anything!!! use a shirt or cloth or mask to cover ur face

if there's a lot of smoke from any fires that might be around then a wet cloth covering your mouth and nose acts as a good filter. USE WET CLOTH TO COVER YOUR MOUTH FROM SMOKE OF FIRES

i know it may seem hard but any of my lebanese followers or anyone who sees this, if it’s safe to do so, take a break from ur phone for a minute, try and take deep breaths, and drink water. it’s important to try and keep calm because it’s harder to stay safe if u are panicked.

update abt caffeine, unless u know it will cure ur headache and has done so it the past, i suggest not drinking coffee or have caffeinated things to urge of the side of caution. please take note of this

to anyone in Lebanon- if you haven’t already, find somewhere safe if u can and wash off ur body from any toxins that may have gotten on u, if u can, change clothes as well as the ones u may have on could be contaminated.
