I recently purged my podcast subscriptions, & these are the pods that made the cut, all of which I highly recommend (a thread):

ACFmovie podcast (from @titusfilm) — probably the best podcast on film I’ve found (the short-lived Across the Movie Ailse was perhaps its only real competition), also includes good episodes on politics, philosophy, poetry, & more!

The AntiSocial Network podcasts (from @AntiSocialCriti) — my friend Tyler has been working hard the last few years to improve his pop culture commentary & criticism, & this podcast, as well as the other things he is currently doing, deserves a follow!

Bob Dylan: Album by Album ( @bobdylanpodcast) — the best Dylan podcast I know, has the right attitude on Dylan as far as I’m concerned, interested in the art instead of endless digging for clues & trivialities.

Hellbent for Letterbox ( @Hellbent4Letter) — if you want to follow a good podcast on Western genre movies, w/occasional talk on Western novels, comics, etc., this is the one!

Long Player ( @longplayerpod) — from the same host ( @benburrell) as @bobdylanpodcast, this pod has digestible yet thoughtful audio essays on various LP records.
