You& #39;re beautiful, Memphis, no matter what @38Godfrey says.

IT& #39;S MEMPHIS DAY.
An almost perfect 2-man building job by Justin Fuente and Mike Norvell. Fuente built something out of nothing, and after maintaining it for a bit, Norvell found a new gear entirely.
Memphis was the king of the "every play is losing 5 yards or gaining 30" offenses last year. So glorious. Brady White& #39;s somehow still got eligibility left, and he& #39;s still got Gainwell and Coxie too.
Memphis broke through last year because the defense broke through. Went from the 80s in def SP+ to 40th. They lose a couple of solid front-7 playmakers, but most of last year& #39;s 2-deep returns.
In an alternate universe, where we at least pretended to do what was necessary to have a full CFB season, Memphis had a manageable non-con and a serious shot at 11+ wins. Will be a major AAC contender no matter what sched we& #39;re looking at.
Memphis& #39; SP+ history.

1. That& #39;s a lot of SEC wins right there.

2. It is impossible to understate the magnificent job Fuente did. They were SO BAD when he got there.
