I don’t think any parent is satisfied with the announcement today. Remember: be kind in the mask debate this will spark. Some kids cannot wear masks. Period. They’re not assholes. They’re not princesses. It is what it is. ....thread.

If these kids were properly supported by 1:1 aides then proper social distancing could be maintained. So many would be safer if we just supported these kids. And yet...

No mention of exemptions or how to support kids who cannot wear masks. Why @CMOH_Alberta? Why are our kids not a priority? Why were we asked to “find a solution that’s best for our families” aka: keep them home?
