(THREAD) I was doing some fun calculations from all the enquiries I received in July, and thought I would share some stats.

Out of all new client enquiries I received in July:

- 39% filled out my booking form
- 61% messaged outside my form
- 21% passed screening & were booked

My booking instructions clearly state all clients fill out my website's booking form.

- 100% of accepted bookings enquired through my booking form (they followed ALL instructions)
- 0% of clients who enquired outside my form passed screening (they did NOT follow instructions)

Out of the 61% who enquired outside my booking form (AKA they did not read):

- 0% provided screening info
- 73% provided one-word or one-sentence messages ("hi", "available?", etc)
- 13% complained about screening
- 0% passed screening & were booked

Out of the 39% who enquired through my booking form (AKA they're at least somewhat literate):

- 72% provided screening info
- 18% provided fake info
- 13% complained about screening
- 55% passed screening & were booked

Every client I booked in July:

- Read & followed all instructions
- Booked through my website
- Provided screening first message
- Had a well-put together introduction of at least a few sentences
- Did not resist screening or deposit
- Sans one, were booked within *3* exchanges

Every serious client proved it from the very first contact. There was no pulling of teeth, debates about screening, or coaxing of any kind. The entire booking process was seamless and with zero obstacles. Not once did a client who messed up in first contact correct himself.

As a matter of fact, if I tried to engage with a client who did not read or follow instructions from the get-go thinking I could "maybe convert a booking out of it", I was met with silence, more crapshoot useless messages, and/or a big giant headache. 0/10 do not recommend.

Hopefully this activity goes to show serious clients do not require any kind of hand-holding on our end. They screen themselves and do not need exceptions to be made for them.

PS: Don't ask me to do this for a longer wide range of dates (ie: all of 2020) cuz I'll shoot myself

P.S.S: This is also stats for *new clients only*. Regular and returning clients contact me directly and don't need to be re-screened.

Another lesson from this... treasure your regulars lol!! You only have to screen them once! Lol.
