My issues is not and has never been with people who don’t believe in God, Jesus, or the Bible. If you believe differently we are not at odds. But what I won’t do is accept blasphemy or disrespect of MY GOD and MY FAITH as an attack toward my beliefs.
If you don’t believe what I believe, that’s okay, just give me the same respect you would want. You don’t have to come attacking me or my faith saying I’m hating on you or offending you. Chile I wasn’t even talking to you.
I would never go to a temple of worship for any other religion and start blatantly disrespecting their culture. In fact, I’ve been to other places of worship in other countries and even though I didn’t identify, it was educational and I was RESPECTFUL.
There is a difference between learning about something and identifying with something. You can observe without participating. Knowledge is fine, but identifying with it, praising it, participating in it.... that is deeper than just education.
As a Christian, there are certain beliefs or spiritual practices that clearly conflict with biblical principles and I will not identify with them. If I see other believers doing that and I address it, again, if you’re not Christian, that is not for you.
