I don’t have an issue with conventionally attractive slim people posting pics to show that they have rolls/cellulite/ . What I *do* have an issue with is the fact that fat people post similar photos and are shamed, called disgusting names and even sent fucking death threats (1/3)

The body positivity movement is there to uplift marginalised bodies, fat bodies, disabled bodies, yet when people who aren’t slim/able bodied try to advocate for self love and confidence they’re accused of ‘promoting obesity’ or attacked for simply expressing self love (2/3)

All bodies are beautiful and deserving of love and respect, anyone with any kind of body can suffer from insecurity and poor self esteem. However, the difference in reaction to these posts depending on the perceived objective attractiveness of the subject is not okay (3/3)
