I've been really thinking for the past days. I see everybody on money twitter saying DMs is the best place to close a sale.

I'm having a hard time with that assessment and here is why

MINI THREAD
1. You may or may not know it but this is only my side hustle. I have an other business where I sell a service for clients.

Everytime people ask me how I find clients I answer the same thing: I don't find them, they find me
2. While I agree that a new follower can translate to having a new prospect because that's a hint on their interest on the subject you talk about. I'm not sure about DMing each and every new follower you get.

It doesn't feel human, it feels automated and robotic
3. At first you'll maybe truly engage with every new follower, but at some point, you'll just copy and paste the same messages
4. That's why in my opinion (and that's just my opinion) it's way better to provide good content, give great advices to your audience so THEY are the ones taking the action of messaging you
5. Coming back to the very first tweet of this thread. When my clients reach out, they are 80% ready to give me a project. I just have to make it 100% by explaining them my work process
6. It should be the same with affiliate marketing. In that way, it's not intrusive, and you don't waste your follower's time or yours!
7. THE END

What do you think? Do you agree with me?

Tell me I'm genuinely interested in having a discussion about this 👇👇
