1. Let& #39;s take a look at what the president said about Ghislaine Maxwell in his interview with @jonathanvswan.

Swan asks the president about his comment 11 days ago when he said "I wish her well" in response to a question about Maxwell
2. The president has already shown himself willing to comment on current cases before the Justice Department where he has a lot of control...but this isn& #39;t even one where he is publicly associated with the case (Manafort, Stone etc).
3. At most...and I& #39;m truly talking about the limit here...a sitting president should say "she& #39;s been accused of horrible crimes but I have confidence in our justice system and in the US Justice Department."

Instead, the president wishes her well and leaves it at that.
4. The president has a long history of falsely accusing people of crimes...including during his time in the White House. He still hasn& #39;t acknowledged that he was wrong about the Exonerated Five.

Yet Ghislaine Maxwell gets "I wish her well."
6. Trump could have used this in response to @jonathanvswan& #39;s inquiry...the DOJ announced $35 million in grants to help victims of human trafficking

"You want to talk about trafficking Jonathan? We& #39;re directing $35 million to victims of human trafficking" https://apnews.com/89347d1b618ab522ec6d13aa114f4e92">https://apnews.com/89347d1b6...
