Most current affairs books have a kind of frustrating structure, nine chapters outlining a problem and then a final chapter ten with unconvincing solutions.
I wanted to flip that script and tackle a problem whose dimensions are obvious and then fill a book with solutions.

In geopolitical competition with China, the PRC's big advantage is that there are way more Chinese people than there are Americans so they can achieve economic parity and clout on the global stage at a much lower level of development. Easy argument.

Can we change the immigration system to get more people? Can we eliminate marriage penalties and do more to support parents and children? We can! We can have a billion Americans.
