Things I realized during quarantine: A Thread.
1. The Healthcare system and workers are a priority. We spent so much time investing for others things that we often overlook the healthcare field. Now, medical workers are suffering and cases are rapidly increasing.
2. Family matters
Before the lockdown we are so immersed with so-called "gala", drinking sessions and leisure. Now, as we distance from other people, we realize that family indeed matters. We learned how to reconnect with our relatives and just be with them for a while.
3. True colors are revealed
During the outbreak, we saw the best and worst of people. Corruption and indifference came out of the closet and so are the people who are standing up for what is right and helping the needy.
4. Faith is a good thing
Growing up Catholic, I viewed the said religion more as an "intimate encounter with God."
During the quarantine, I kept my faith in God and prayed even more. There were times that I was disillusioned but my faith saved me. Trust me on this one.
