2020 has been a bizarre year so far
January: Massive wildfires in Australia
February: Locusts swarm East Africa
March: WHO declares COVID-19 as a global pandemic
April: Cyclone Harold in Vanuatu

May: Killing of George Floyd and start of #BLM
June: At least 20 Indian soldiers and over 40 Chinese forces are killed or injured in skirmishes in the disputed Galwan Valley
July: UN declares that zoonotic diseases are in the rise
August: Hurricane Isaias in North Carolina

I know there was so much more happening in each of these months... and it is truly devastating. However, let's support each other and hang tight for the next 4 months of 2020, and hope for the best.

Update: August has just started, and so much has already happened
Aug 3: Hurricane Isaias makes landfall in the US as a Category 1 hurricane near Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.

Aug 3: Forest Fires Rage Across Albania as Temperatures Continue to Rise.

Aug 4: Huge explosions at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, kills more than 100 and leaves over 5,000 thousand injured.

Aug 5: Deadly North Korea gas explosion reported near China border.

Aug 4: Fire breaks out at Iranian industrial area, no casualties.

Aug 7: Saudi Arabia controls fire near Haramain train station in Jeddah’s Sulaymaniyah area.

Aug 5: Dubai fire outbreak: Ajman market dey burn inside huge firebreak for Dubai Metropolitan Area of United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Aug 26: Hurricane Laura strikes Louisiana as Category 4 storm.

As August is nearing it's end, let's hope that from September onwards things go well
