Released in 2004, Out of Myself is the debut album from Polish group Riverside, led by singer/bassist Mariusz Duda. The album was the first in the Reality Dream Trilogy, which would be completed with the subsequent two albums.

The band were initially described as similar to Porcupine Tree, but in reality, the comparison is bit unfair, as they truly are a unique band in their approach to songwriting and musicality.
From the 12-minute, opener “The Same River” to the set of “Reality Dream” instrumentals, to the bluesy, ballad closer “OK”, there are a lot of surprises here, making this one of the strongest debuts of the new millennium.
