If influencers want the audience to engage with their content, the influencers must engage with their audience too.

Influencers work for the audience. The audience doesn’t work for influencers.

We’ve already been through this so many times before. https://twitter.com/yougottalovekaz/status/1290518935033585669
Influencers who actually engage with their audience don’t have this problem.

Influencers need the audience. The audience DOES NOT need influencers.

You make your money through engagement but then you also don’t want to engage.

It doesn’t make sense. 😂😂😂
The audience does you a FAVOR by retweeting and reposting and engaging your posts. We don’t owe it to you because we don’t work for you.

But it’s your JOB as an influencer to engage your audience. You get paid for that.

This is the first and most important thing to remember.
Awukwazi ukuphakamela abantu whose HELP you need.

Zehliseni ma-eh. Talk to people and people will talk to you and they’ll repost/engage your content without you even asking.

Believe it or not, we’re actually happy for you when you get sponsored content and WANT to see you win.
Seeing that we’re here having this chat...yet again,

I’d love to know why influencers stop engaging their “regular” audience and only respond to celebrities and other influencers once they gain a lot of followers.

Can anyone who works in the industry care to explain?
