We keep track of #COVID19 deaths in our viewing area. Yesterday was the first day in 3 weeks that we had no new local deaths to report.
On Monday, Hamilton County reported ( http://health.hamiltontn.org/AllServices/Coronavirus(COVID-19).aspx) 35 patients in ICU – the highest number yet.
The 7-day average is now 30, also the highest yet.
ICU patients represents the group most threatened with death.

On the other hand: New cases in Hamilton County have fallen sharply, according to the latest numbers.
Our 7 day average is down to 70, from a high 3 weeks ago of 120.
Hamilton County's mask mandate has now been in effect for a little more than two weeks: https://bit.ly/3ft7pCO

& finally, the Hamilton County hospitalization numbers remain flat. This number could go down, given the decline in new cases we shared above.
