While we talk about biphobia in the LGBT community can we also talk about ignorant bisexuals? Its not always the community fault, some of yall date homophobic and biphobic cishets and THEY are most of the problem. Put the same energy into both please, both harm yall.

Like this idiot asked why is there so much abuse towards bi women. I said that theres a correlation between the abuse and most of them dating men, lots of those men are homophobic and it shows. We need to protect bisexuals from biphobia and homophobia from ALL places.

Like yes biphobia is real, we need to call it out in the LGBT community. But Ive never seen people put the same energy into calling out homophobic cishet partners too. Both are bad and need to be fixed.

When our bi friends told us they got boyfriends that let them fool around with girls but not with guys they saw NOTHING wrong with it. As if thats not biphobic? Please lets teach those people about biphobia in ALL places not just the LGBT community, it brings ignorance.

Ignorance that hurts lots of people. Its not just LGT who need to be educated about biphobia, its also your bi friend who's dating a guy that lets her hook up with other girls, who asks her for 3somes and thinks she's down since she's bi, and so on.
