This is only a fraction of the atrocities happening on the ground in Zimbabwe. Yesterday, an old man got his head split open when police attacked him with batons. That old man could have been my father or my uncle. It is truly heartbreaking!

A journalist was abducted, unlawfully arrested and had his house trashed for exposing corruption. They wanted to seize his camera because apparently he “tweeted from his camera” to incite violence. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?!

Then this young man got arrested for peacefully protesting Hopewell Chin’ono’s arrest. His charges? You guessed it: “inciting violence”.

The healthcare system is pretty much defunct to the point where ONLY 1 in 8 babies SURVIVE birth. It’s like we’re back in the 1900s! The Zim govt watches on & instils fear in citizens. We’ve had enough! How many more lives must we lose before freedom?
