@KatyMontgomerie @annamwh
I have another question and, as I enjoyed our exchange, thought I would ask for your opnions.

This one is about the cis label.
(saw your earlier post Katy)

1/
As I don't believe in gender ideology, I don't like to be called cis.

In the same way I don't think it makes sense for everyone who isn't Christian to be asked to call themselves a heathen.

The qualifier is for the outliers, not for the norm.
2/
By using trans as a qualifier, your separate the outliers from the norm. It's a clear and effective way of doing this.
There is no need to use a qualifier to offset the norm.
But this seems to be offensive to trans people somehow?
3/
And so it's put on the majority to qualify themselves against an ideology they might not believe in, and if they refuse this get labelled all sorts. Bigot, TERF, you name it.

I'm happy to be respectful of trans people even though I don't believe in gender ideology, in the

4/
same way I'm respectful of another's religion, even if I think it's nonsense.
As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, believe what you want, cool by me.

So why do trans people not reciprocate that respect by not putting their labels on me?
