Amid the billions being thrown at Covid-19 emergency this very real, ongoing Scottish crisis gets what? £4 million, a pittance, for research and more courses about stigma reduction and other worthy but wooly stuff ... Meanwhile drug deaths are UP
Very few people appear to be getting off drugs or moving on to better lives - we need REAL MONEY for decent housing, proper throughcare, residential rehab, drug consumption rooms, ongoing close support
and we need real stigma on the cottage industry of "blues" suppliers - the churn of 50p street benzos is what screws Scotland - we seem utterly incapable of stopping people mixing drugs.. and when have we ever heard "street drugs" or "blues" in media campaigns? (never)
