1/ "The Case for @Helloiconworld ICON $ICX 2020."

ICON has just confirmed MyID’s release in August.

Here's what that ACTUALLY means and how ICONLOOP & its products strengthens the case for ICON 2020 more than ever before.

A Twitter thread. Read below.👇
4/ Forget that ICONLOOP’s MyID (DID Blockchain solution) is the only DID solution that’s been approved by Korea’s FSC (SEC equivalent) and currently in use by 70+ entities including Korea’s 4 largest banks and the likes of Samsung Electronics.
5/ Forget all of the above, because we know that though too many people take it for granted.
6/ I’m going to focus on ICONLOOP’s upcoming MyID and its implications.

And yes, I know MyID runs on ICONLOOP’s private chain but it's still much more significant than people realize.
7/ ICON’s MyID is one of the strongest potential contenders to replace Korea’s Accredited Certification.

Even if this doesn’t materialize, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s CURRENTLY being adopted by industry giants, approved by Korea’s top regulator & launching this month.
8/ We all know one of ICON’s greatest strengths is its relationships with enterprise clients and key government entities.

ICONLOOP has been building an an unprecedented network over the past 3 years at a rapid pace.
The OGs among you will remember the MoUs.
9/ For example, ICONLOOP has doubled its MyID partners from 2019 November when it launched with 39 members in 8 months.

These partners are industry giants. No small feat.
10/ Here’s what people don’t realize: the implications of the launch of MyID.

MyID with all its impressive clientele and partners will run on the private chain, but ICONLOOP’s 2 other key products: VisitMe & Broof will ALSO be integrated into MyID.
11/ VisitMe & Broof are both products that run on ICON's public chain and utilize $ICX.

They have both already seen significant business development in Korea.
13/ VisitMe has been used by POSCO, the World Cup Stadium & Yonsei University to name a few, and ICONLOOP is in talks with local governments for deployment.

These are some of the most difficult entities to convince to use a new product as they likely have VERY high standards.
14/ They are both new products.

The integration of these products with MyID will provide a significant boost and potentially allow them to tap in to MyID’s massive user base.
15/ Large corporations are slow to adopt blockchain & are risk averse. In general, they are MUCH more hesitant to use public chains.

But we’ve seen corporations like Saramin dip their toes into public chain products. And this integration could allow others to follow suit.
16/ It won’t happen overnight, but seamless integration is the name of the game.

This will LITERALLY bring ICON’s public chain usage/products closer than ever to what ICON has been revered for, and been building over the past 3 years: its network.
