Sikh Community attacked in Kashmir on Eid.

For the torch bearers of Kashmiriyat please read on.

After making the Eid sacrifices, the Muslims of Khanpur sarai in district Budgam threw off the wastes in Sikh locality.

When Sikhs objected, the Muslims gathered together at-

and threatened Sikhs to let this go. Sikhs also questioned them for cutting the populus trees belonging to Sikhs. The confrontation was avoided.
Muslims came in mob at night with sticks & scared Sikhs. Sikhs gathered at Gurdwara and were ready to face them.

An FIR has been filed against the Muslims of the area by Sikhs. The SHO didn’t pay attention to it & after many calls by Sikh leadership registered complaint.

CRPF & army has been deployed in the village.

No kashmiri media will show you this because they will rub it off as ‘unfortunate’ incident. I request all media houses to be the voice of voiceless minority here.

Update- Sikh men are waiting at Gurdwara Singh Sabha for @BudgamPolice to send someone as promised. The incident has escalated after majority community repeatedly provoked Sikhs by cutting their populus trees & throwing off Eid Sacrifice wastes in Sikh locality.
