Thread on why I do not think Chihiro was trans
Disclaimer: I do not want to talk over trans people Iâm just stating my opinion about Chihiro story.
First of all let start with his backstory and why did he decide to cross dress:
Chihiro was bully most of his childhood for being weak and not a "man" it wasnât just bullying it was also harassment. To make the bullying stop he decide to cross dress
Chihiro secret: If I remember correctly his secret was âChihiro is acc a boy and is cross dressing" Chihiro instead of being weak decide to take his strength to change
He then trust mondo with this and told him about his secret and how he wanted to be more strong
I think that it sorry if I miss something now here what I conclude from his story
-He had to cross dress bc he was getting bully and harass
-he never stated that he was trans he in fact stated that he want to be more manly
-His character represents toxic masculinity not transfem
-Chihiro was more comfortable hanging out with the boy then the girl

If we also think about it Sakura was the opposite of Chihiro and wanted to express her feminity
If you use she/her for headcanon alright but donât erase his whole backstory and if you use it to not spoil people maybe say THH spoiler or something on ur tweet
