Saw something funny with one of the associates, they’d tell the other. Working late, she’d order him food. It’s quiet at the firm, he’d put on a record he knows is her fav. The conversations they must have had to kill the time, not wanting to go to an empty house, the

celebrations of their big achievements, being there for one another on important days. The first anniversary of Gordon’s death, Harvey being there while Donna rants about her parents reunion. For years it was their little bubble, just the two of them and I know Mike’s arrival is

so so important in their development. As individuals and as couple,, and Donna wouldn’t be anything but supportive.. hell it’s why she never said anything about the fraud thing and supported his mentorship, I can’t help but think about those first couple of months where Mike’s

presence is shifting their dynamics. How it isn’t just drinks between the two of them anymore, how she gets to go home while Mike helps with a case... and I just “you wouldn’t want to share..” I’m sure as much as she knew he needed this, I’m sure she felt this too.

and ofcourse they’d still have nights of drinks and hushed conversations etc.. but there was a shift and gosh there’s so much about the DA’s office time - Mike’s arrival that I want to know about
