Idc if you cancel me for this but imma speak my mind coz why not right?
Tbh, it's ticking me off that fangirling is becoming a chore.
I'm here in stan twt to enjoy the updates, music, and interactions. I want to escape from my real life responsibilities and just have a break.

The more groups being launched means there's more variety of music we gotta listen to. And I love that because all groups have different music styles of their own. But it saddens me that stanning becomes a competition. It makes me wonder if some here stan true talent and not just
popularity or visuals. Like let's face it, some here just rode the bandwagon. But idc about your life choices, it's just that it kinda alarms me how many people suffer from the toxicity of cancel culture, fanwars, offensive humors, and the like.
Everyday, stan accts are fighting with other fandoms or even their co-fandom. And y'all don't think that won't affect one's mental health?
I have built friendships here, and it's heartbreaking everytime moots would announce closure of their accts just because he/she tried to

share his/her thoughts about certain issues. Like, we can have healthy discourses you know? We all have different viewpoints but that's healthier. We gotta know perspectives different from us, so we gotta listen to them. It's cliche but remember, "EDUCATE DON'T CANCEL!"
If we share our thoughts freely without being afraid of others' judgment, and we are willing to learn from other people, I think that would lessen the toxicity here in this stan universe.
Also, we gotta know when to be silent sometimes and think about what others have to say.

Cos you know? Sometimes, they're right! Sometimes they just care about you. Sometimes they just want to educate you. Educating doesn't mean cancelling. So if you could just be open to it, you won't feel like the world is against you. Learn to accept lessons.
Okay, back to stanning as a chore.
Idk if I'm just old that's why I'm new to the voting and streaming policies. But in the early years of kpop, votes and streams don't define a bop. It's kinda sad now, you feel me? Being on charts doesn't automatically mean your song is great.

Because frankly, some underrated groups have greater music but can't make it to charts because they're not that popular. They do not have that large pool of voters and streamers. So please, don't be too cocky. Don't drag other groups for your faves to reach the top.
And since kpop is becoming a competition, your faves will not always stay at the top. They cannot win all the awards just because you believe in them. Other groups also deserve recognition. And other groups deserve wins. So don't be too butthurt if your group lost.
Don't make baseless accusations just to blame other people of your lost. Stop that because that's toxic!
So shame on you if you tell other people not to be toxic, but you yourself is being toxic over some petty stuff.
And please, fans also have lives outside their stan accts.

Don't be too bossy over them and foce them to fulfill "duties" of a fan. It doesn't make anyone less of a fan just because they do not have the time and drive to vote and stream. It doesn't make anyone less of a fan if they do not have merch or albums. So stop branding them as
"fake fans". Like, I know we want the best for our groups because they all deserve it. But let people enjoy things the way they want it. I know fans would work hard if they have the luxury of time and access to it.
If we have set goals, stick to it. We'll achieve it nonetheless.
If we have set goals, stick to it. We'll achieve it nonetheless.
Don't be disheartened if the goal was set high. It's a goal because it's attainable. Don't you ever doubt and just do all you gotta do. Whatever the results, there must be no regrets if we have given our all and tried our very best. Instead of doubting, just make things done.
Wins are bonuses. Don't make it as the basis of success. It must be just gifts to our idols to repay them for their hardships in giving us good music. Don't be too burdened please. More than anything, enjoy.
If you think of stanning as a chore, it would really be tiring.
