I mean the 2-shot is hilarious. They bias the presenter in the frame but POTUS is literally behind the show's logo. This was most likely filmed much wider and on 4k cameras so they probably decided to push in like that. amazing.

this one shot sits for 10 seconds while they gain-down the microphone on POTUS to make him sound secondary. it finally cuts on the line "I'm talking about death" to see Trump's non-reaction as he rattles off some BS.

editing is storytelling folks.

these 3 shots are a good example of smart editing.

lastly the sound mix. they often dip Trump's mic to make it sound like he's talking over the presenter. that's the presenter knowing they control post-production, and all he has to do is ask calmly. "shooting to edit" is easy if you've planned, and it appears they did.
