My first day on the job at @YALiberty — and the @CityOfDallas is applying political double standards, shredding our First Amendment and selectively suppressing political gatherings.

Across America, mass gatherings by some are condoned and encouraged — while political gatherings by others are stifled and silenced.

Why do we allow this? How is such a double standard happening? What is happening to our country?

Just last week, @BarackObama rallied Democrats to oust @realDonaldTrump & abolish the filibuster at a massively attended funeral (many not wearing masks) for a highly regarded politician.

Meanwhile, #WeThePeople are told funerals for our loved ones must be limited to ten people.

Young Americans for Liberty was ready to jump through every hoop — including mask requirements and social distancing.

Still, @YALiberty’s Mobilize 2020 (set to begin in 2 days) was shut down by the @CityOfDallas with no notice at the last possible minute.

The political double standard in America is becoming increasingly clear.

- Churches are closed when Walmart is open.

- Protests on the political left are celebrated while political gatherings on the right are shut down.

In an election year, our governmental institutions are being used to suppress the freedoms of speech and association — as the future our our nation is at stake.
