The Boyz as university students (and their majors): a thread

Everyone's busy at uni, but no one's quite as busy as Sangyeon. In between majoring in music & business administration, he also leads the a capella group and tutors at the local primary school. It'd be tempting to dislike him if not for how damn nice he is all of the time.

If there's an established campus star, it's Jacob. He plays basketball, performs with local bands and majors in cinema studies. He seems too gentle for the world at first, until one day you see him chew out a bunch of cowering, muscled frat boys for hazing a freshman. Scary.

Younghoon is the kind of handsome presence on campus that no one needs at 8 AM on a Monday. He looks good in his all-blacks for his performance arts classes as a theatre major. He even looks good covered in dog hair when he volunteers at the local animal shelter. Sickening.

Hyunjae is one of those unique souls who manages to balance being a frat star with a biochemistry major. How he gets honours while taking exams the day after a party, no one knows, except maybe one of the many hot guys he's somehow always surrounded by. (Boyfriends? Frat bros?)

Juyeon, the basketball captain, can often be found in the library with his nose stuck comically far into a book. He's a literature & German studies double major, & sometimes he'll just start spouting off Hesse quotes in between talking about basketball plays, but that's whatever.

You meet Kevin at his art gallery showing, and you learn he's a psychology & visual arts double major. Beautiful, ethereal Kevin could just as easily paint you as he could dissect your innermost neuroses, but he won't, he'll just talk to you about systemic discrimination instead.

When you almost run into Chanhee with a hot cup of coffee, you see your life flash before your eyes because he's wearing Chanel. He just laughs though, and then tells you the statistical improbability of a drop of liquid actually hitting his designer vest. Damn statistics major.

Between classes for his philosophy major, Changmin can be seen talking to campus pigeons & leading the dance crew. He also writes the horror film review column in the school paper, & you don't think you've ever read an analysis of Annabelle through the lens of Dante's Inferno.

International business studies major, Haknyeon, is as nice as he is busy, which is to say - very. Half the time he isn't even on campus because he's jetsetting off to check on his Chinese startup, but when he is here, he organises the annual FoodFest that's the event of the year.

Hyunjoon is the most mysterious person on campus. You're pretty sure he's just a freshman, but the visual studies major is always traipsing in & out of senior secret society houses in his designer outfits. You even heard he got a Prada internship, but that can't be true. Right?

Sunwoo is the busiest freshman alive. After morning sociology classes, he protests on college green for gender equality, then stays up to perform in the underground rap scene. He's always surrounded by a gaggle of girls too, but that's probably because he's a huge fucking flirt.

Sometimes you're not sure what Eric even looks like because he's just a blur most of the time. He doesn't walk across campus to get to urban studies class & football practice, he runs. Or longboards. He'd probably like to be friends with you if you could actually catch him first.
