BREAKING NEWS: The Erik Prince Business Associate Who Had Begun to Reveal Prince's Crimes in Real Time on Twitter Has Disappeared From the Platform; Gregg Smith Is the Former CEO of Prince's Partially China-Owned Frontier Services Group
PS/ The below screenshot gives you a sense of some of what Smith was posting before he and/or his account disappeared. Needless to say I have no information on what happened here, and I won't speculate. But I think some full-time journalists should consider looking into this now.
PS2/ The most obvious answer is usually the right one, so of course it's entirely possible Gregg simply terminated his account suddenly—after saying he'd be posting up through the election about Erik Prince. But either way, it'd be a hell of a story for a journalist to look into.
PS3/ Just so I'm clear—folks sometimes jump to conclusions—I've no reason to think Gregg isn't fine. What I think readers of his—and journalists—might like to know is what is going on in his life (if this is what happened) that led him to suddenly abort his planned Prince exposé.
PS4/ Readers here—I do love crowdsourcing—are saying that the last tweet from Gregg indicated that he needed to leave Twitter quickly for an unspecified reason, but would be appearing publicly later on. I can't find his tweets on WayBackMachine, so I *cannot* confirm this myself.
PS5/ Two people—one here on the feed, one via DM—say that the last tweet Smith responded to before suddenly saying he had to go dark was the tweet below. Again, I can't confirm this personally. I'm writing this thread in the hope some full-time journalists will track down Gregg.
