JOURNEY TO A HAPPY ENDING

We could still get a plot twist in the next episode, but assuming that what we know now won't change, that is, Head Nurse is MY's mom, I honestly believe that her being alive is crucial for our trio's happy ending.

I used to say that if ever MY's mom killed GT and ST's mom, she should be at least dead in the present setting. I believed that's the only way our #MmM could get a happy ending.

BUT it's actually the other way around.

Now that MY knows what her mother has done to ruin the lives of the people that matter to her most, there's no way she'd find peace in her death early on.

GT's words of assurance would provide a bit of comfort, but MY would always feel guilty and sorry. She'd die inside.

4/n

The fact that her mom is alive provides an opportunity for MY to take action, to somehow correct the mistakes.

And this is what she's trying to do at the end of Ep 14. MY wanted her mom to get punished as she should. And she's not gonna sit there waiting for it to happen.

5/n

MY said this herself, the one turning a blind eye to the abuser is worse. So taking action against her own mom would actually relieve her burden of guilt.

She is so scared of her mother but she still had the courage to provoke her to show up and end things once and for all.

I still have no idea what's gonna happen next. Jo Yong has a way to always surprise us. But as I said over and over again, I trust her writing. She has been nothing short of amazing since day 1.

7/n

Our girl is a fighter. GT has already chosen her. ST oppa for sure would also play a big part on MY's healing.

I'm excited for their happy ending.

They are, after all, the true definition of a family.
