I categorically denounce white supremacy. I'm using this flag as a way to bridge a gap between historically disparate groups. I want to show that I resist federal overreach, and for Black Lives at the same time.
Shifting the meaning of the Gadsden Flag from tea party to resistance is a major inroad for some folks who are on the fence about #BlackLivesMatter
