Where would one look for examples of a historical attempt for working class revolution that was both successful *and* decentralized? Like, a revolution that happened without most of the revolutionary coalescing around a hero-figure?
I ask because months ago I read something (can't find it now, possibly Aeon?) which argued the successful side of any revolution or civil war is simply the better organized side, even if they're less popular initially. As the months wear on, people get exhausted (or killed)
and support any group offering organization, even if they're promises rest on a very conservative concentration of power. It seemed to argue that any movement that can't rapidly organize/centralize itself when needed could never succeed in overthrowing and redistributing power.
This thread is full of grammatical errors and I read it multiple times wtf. I'm really sorry. I think I'm getting worse at being coherent.
Thanks for reading anyway!
