i kno i complain about the various facets of this a lot but god trans discourse on here sucks so much

i just remembered this thread i saw where a bunch of (mostly lgbt) ppl were talking shit about some trans lady saying she “doesn’t look trans enough” and it’s just uhhhhhhhhh fucked up imo

like idk u can criticize how out of all the trans women this company could have picked as their model, they chose a conventionally attractive very cis passing white woman without like. directly attacking her personally and acting like she is evil for simply... passing well...

literally trans ppl online will talk about how trans women need to pass for their safety or whatever and so u shouldn’t shame them for wanting to be conventionally feminine (true) and then turn around and cancel a trans woman for looking too cis. stupid
