well, i guess that& #39;s it. i just want to say that these are just some pieces that were somewhere around my brain and that i really like. i recognize the almost absolute predominance of european art. unfortunately im not really a connoisseur of visual arts or anything,+
so i lack knowledge of less "mainstream" art (ie, not european). i didn& #39;t do any research for this, besides finding out the dates/mediums and remembering the names of some of the artists. i just browsed through my memories of paintings and dumped them here. +
with that said, i wish i knew more. unfortunately my conception of visual arts is very scarce outside of what we usually learn in school and what i see around the internet, which mostly encompasses european movements.+
so, this thread is just what it says it is: some stuff that i like. i have no way of saying it& #39;s the best or the most important stuff (if that even exists). it& #39;s just the paintings that visually please me the most, from the ones i know.
