just FYI: i think the next chapter of sugar husband au is going to be delayed. i am just not in the right mental space to write/edit, in light of everything going on here and in my real life, and i think it& #39;s best if i take that pressure off myself.
super sorry

i& #39;m not sure how long it& #39;ll be, so i don& #39;t want to make any promises. i& #39;m also feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything and may take a bit of a twitter break, if i can keep myself off of here.
for everyone out here fighting the good fight, i see and appreciate you.

i also want to say, that we& #39;re all responsible for addressing our own internal biases regarding members of other marginalized communities, even if we are members of other marginalized communities, ourselves.
i& #39;m maybe not the best person to say this, or the most eloquent. but the private conversations i& #39;ve had with reylos of different marginalized groups where they& #39;ve stated that they feel unsafe here scare me.
fandom is supposed to be an escape for everyone. it shouldn& #39;t be a place for racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia, anti-feminism, or any other kind of xenophobia.
people shouldn& #39;t feel silenced.

i& #39;m really new to this fandom, but i loved being here because i felt safe and accepted. i hate that other people have not.
lastly, i have not ONCE seen a woman of my cultural background represented positively/accurately in Western media/literature.
my entire 25 years of life.

it& #39;s gotten to the point that i& #39;m relieved when i don& #39;t see a diversity attempt, because at least it means i& #39;m not being misrepresented.
please remember this when you put BIPOC and/or Jewish characters in your stories. if you& #39;re making us villains, you& #39;re NOT representing us.
