When it comes to #PoliceReform I am in favor of #DebundlePolice meaning separating the different functions of what police currently do so that the guys with guns only show up at serious, potentially dangerous situations rather than potentially cause one.

Think of an armed response team for dangerous situations, while things like traffic tickets, wellness checks, code enforcement, and other more mundane tasks would be handled by teams specifically trained for those roles.

Additionally, we need to encourage more civilian-run community bodies to be organized so each community has a hand in how it’s policed. These groups would partner with police when necessary but otherwise function to serve, protect, and be accountable to the community
